Every day we see young pregnant women in households and on the streets, sometimes in schools, in shops and elsewhere. There are many factors that lead to increasingly early exercise of sexuality in adolescents and thus to early pregnancies. Pregnancy during adolescence is a topic of great interest in all sectors of society, and across the world. Adolescence is a period of life in which the individual acquires the reproductive capacity, psychologically passes from childhood to adulthood. Journal of Adolescent Health conducted research on pregnancy rates, outcomes of birth and abortion among 15-to 19 years old and 10- to 14-year olds in all countries (Gilda, 2015).
